Clanlord2: Puddleby Exile

I've made my decision. I'm going to make clanlord again. But this time, each game will be some short story. The idea is that i can release a new story once everyone is bored of the first one. You will be able to save your character... I've started ASM programing and i found that it's pretty easy. So i'm using alot of graphic routines in this new RPG. It's a total graphic interface. I see no point in text games, when you don't ever see what your doing it get's boring and hard to remember what your doing. I've already made a simple sprite routine in BASIC. It's very easy and it's made so that it can't walk into a wall. This makes it so that to make a world i just set out the cords for pxls and our little guy is good to go. Makes alot more room. Most of the object will also be sprites. This makes it so that i only have to give a variable to something like "X" and then send it to my graphics program it find which "X" space to goto. This to save space on your calc. I don't have much else to say and i have to go. If you want to help or anything (which i don't alwasy like help but it's ok), then e-mail me... snowguy_2006@hotmail.com I use MSN if your ever on. also AIM jdthom123 bye

The demo for Triple Triad will be out THIS week I swear to god. It has essentially unlimited re-play value. The full version should be out soon thereafter the full version will have alot more features and be less randomized. Even when you get the full version you should still keep the demo. It's awsome. If you want screen shots or have questions, feel free to e-mail me at yougotavirus@yahoo.com

For anyone who has seen any of the anime/manga Ghost in the Shell, Bubble Gum Crisis or Princess Mononoke I was thinking about making some kind of game or book or anything based off of those series. If there is any interest please e-mail me or reply to this post. Thanks

P.S. I have like 10 projects in the works so it might be awhile before I can do anything.

I am currently working on an UnreaL TOurnaMent game with weapon, target, REAL 3D environment, enemies to kill, and ammo and health to pick up. I have released UnreaL TOurnaMent v1.00 beta on my website, www.cemetech.homestead.com, and it is being processed on TICalc.org. I am working on UnreaL TOurnaMent v1.2 beta and should have it released in a couple of weeks. It will have improved graphics, and possibly two-player link play! Keep a lookout for it! If you have questions, email me at Kerm_Martian@yahoo.com.

Ryan Laster  Account Info

Hey all! Sublime here, telling you about my NEWEST game! Resident Evil for the TI-83+. This game is only in BASIC written by ME. There are sadly, no graphics, but the game is amazing. I have(as of right now)5 badguys to fight(Nemesis - for higher levels; Spiders, Dogs, Zombies, and Hunters) chance to level up when you get a certain amount of kills; 4 different weapons(Knife,Handgun, Shotgun, Nade Launcher) a Save option(i know you guys love that) and ammo and a way to heal! There is a lot more to it and it will be a great game when completed. If you would like any more information on it please email me at Sublime@gaminnet.net or IM me at Sublimefan123456. See you soon!

I am a relatively new programmer to Ti-BASIC (I program Java on the computer, and a lil VB) and I noticed that there aren't very many RPGs for BASIC for the Ti-83plus or Ti-83. After making a few text based programs I have set to work on making the RPG, so far, so good. There is a world map, 5 cities, a battle screen. It is in it's early alpha stages. I am having a memory leak program that I am trying to resolve, if anyone could give me a helping hand on that. I expect to release my first, and full (i hate useless betas that are up in the Archives) version sometime in August or so. Anyhelp or input anyone wants to give is appreciate.

forget basic! it will be the end of you! Basic STINKS! ASM and C++ are faster, smoother, provide better graphics, and give the programer MUCH more freedom.

You can write C++ for calculators, but I stick with ASM. The y are like another way of writing ASM. they are posted in the ASM arcives and don't usually say they are C++ so that might explain why you haven't heard of them

It's closer to C than it is to C++. Don't use C, though. It's a waste of space and processor cycles. Maybe someday, somebody will write a good compiler. Until that time, keep on plugging away at ASM. It's worth it.
