If you are programming in BASIC, you can store the information from variables in a list (ex: L1(1)=A,L1(2)=B,etc.) and recall it in the label where you load your game. If you are programming in Assembly, you will have to find someone else to help you.

Myst
Sifer

Hey guys. I'm currently working basic version of the classic adventure/strategy game, Myst. For right now, it will be text-driven, but in the future, i hope to port it to ASM, and have graphics. One problem. I'm only a newbie programmer, one who only knows basic.
But this newbie has a great idea. Would anyone who is not working on a project currently (or is...) like to help me make this? I could provide the text parts and
game elements, and one of you could make graphics and program. See, if I made it, it'd be huge, and take up a lot of memory. Thanks For reading this, and please contact me at:

Re: Upcoming TI-83 Plus RPG's
Zeratul  Account Info

I have seen tons of RPG's out there that, putting it mildly, need improvement. That is why I am working on one that actually IS an RPG, one where you can backstab your most loyal ally at any time, where random things happen to you creating a different adventure every time you play it. Where people and other things interact with you differently depending on your stats. I am still learning assembly, but one thing is sure, this game would be HUGE!!!

A cool snake game
nate bowser  Account Info

I was thinking...If i wanted to play snake, but not competetively, it would be nice if I had a snake-program where the only way to die was running into yourself. I have in mind one like you see on Nokia cell phones, but if you run into the side you just wrap to the other side of the screen. If anybody would like to take on that project...please let me know!
Thank you

For a "basic" start, the Programming section in your calc manual has a lot of info on beginning programming. It mostly gives you little math programs to punch in, but I'm sure you can mess around and create some cool little things (that's how I learned ti-basic) If you have n e questions, contact me.

I've looked through my manual but haven't come up with much luck. I checked around the internet for help & found a good website on programming for the TI-83 Plus. The language was ASM. I really want to know how to make games since I don't have any. The manual isn't that great of a help. The website though was pretty good, but I still can't seem to grasp the programming concept. Thanks for your reply.
