Hey, can anyone come out with a app with a name after "ORG" for alphabetical sake that password-protects the calculator on power-up and will not be overriden by RAM clear? I have a 83+ Silver Edition and I can't find a decent program to do this.

I don't think so.. A RAM clear causes all hooks to be lost, which is how memory protection progs work. You could, however, stick on a new OS (I'm working on CP/M, release date approx 2004-06)

aaw, rats. I guess that makes sense. ah, well it was worth a try. Kryptolo has decent protection if you read far enough to know how to use it.

If anyone has intrest in any of the following programs, contact me. Eventually they will be posted but you can get the "Special Edition" that is an early release by E-mailing me. By requesting a copy of the program you are also agreeing to the statements given in the disclaimer below.

QuickKey - press the key to earn the point and beat your partner to the winning score. *Can be made to work alone but designed for link play.

Tic-Tac-Toe - the clasic TTT game written in TI Basic with some added features. Runs rather fast.

**Disclaimer: These programs are originally designed for only for link play. Due to the fact that it is early release, there may still be errors and I am not responsible for any problems that may occor as a result of the program. You are not permitted to edit or modify the program without my permission unless it is specifically stated in the ReadMe file. Right now I hope no one is waiting for the release because it's going to be delayed...a long time. My laptop's hard drive burned up on new year's eve (ironic, huh) and I lost everything on it. All I have left of my TI stuff is reset back to early September of last year and what I had on my calculator. Right now I'm not in a hurry to re-create what was lost because I am into SimCity for 83+ and BomberKids and so I'm hooked on these games I downloaded.

OK, so I feel stupid replying to myself so many times. Anyhow, the variable of how long it will take me to finish re-creating these is when my Spanish III teacher talks about how she hopes the eagles will win the next game they play and argues over how the other teams will lose, I can program. Today I got bored and started a start-up program that makes the calculator look like it is running a operating system. Needs some work though. I included the summery for those (like me) who don't care about details and just want the basic point of the "article"

SUMMERY:
I have 40 minutes per day chance to program maximum.

I'm creating a program called 'SANDOOS', sorta like Windows, but now on Ti-83(+). I'm also trying to create a programme with Assembly Language, but I have no idea how to. Can anybody tell me how?

just a suggestion

put the move algorithm and the missile(or laser or whatever) algorithm inside the same loop. that way every time the loop runs the missile will get closer and you can move out of the way. dont know if this will work or not but it might and i think it will

Sounds like you have a situation where the program is one big loop... and then you have a loop to make the bullet go. Kindof like...

Loop //For program

Loop //For bullet
EndLoop
EndLoop

What it sounds like is that the program is trapped in a loop like the Loop for the bullet in the sample. See if you have a loop for the bullets. If you do, take it out to work in the master loop and just change the bullet variables and then after you update all points to be redrawn (bullets, ship, enemies), then print everything again.

Hope this helps!
