Hey. Has anyone made a StarCraft type game for the 83+? That would be really cool although it might be too big. Will someone please try?

When I finish learning z80 I will get a programing team together and start the programming
The only thing I must say is that the sprites are very small (I have made some of them already mostly 3x8 for soldiers, buildings are larger mostly 10x15)
Anyone wanna join my programing group-to-be

Try downloading asmguru (link above). It helped me a lot.

I assume you mean for the 83 Plus. ASMGuru is just for the 83, I think. Anyway, go to the link above. It is to TI-83 Plus Assembly Basics. Anyone who wants to learn 83+ Plus assembly should download it. It contains the Assembler (To put your programs together), Objhex (Which converts the hex code into an .8xp program), and 83+ Tutorials. It has everything you need to get started. So download it, open, and viola! You can program Assembly. Good Luck :)

My programs don't compile, either. The compiled form of them just has AsmPrgm as the top line and nothing else. Any ideas as to why?

Just download the 83+ include files instead of the 83 ones. The concept is still the same...it is all z80.

There are some other differences with commands, tokens, and such. Also for the TI-83 the starting point is different. Look carefully, there are other differences besides just the include files.

I'm making a type of RPG/turn-based strategy game right now for TI-86. Custom graphics and no RAM juicing pictures. I hate when people rely on pictures for their games. Makes too many variables lying around in the calculator.

Also, while I was making it, it was becoming one big program and when I ran it I was wondering why it was so slow. Then I found out a few weeks ago that the bigger the program, the slower it runs. lol. I bet a lot you people are thinking I'm stupid right now.
