I'm making a turn-based strategy game involving moving and attacking with individual units. I plan on using lists to store info, but it might be a little complex. I gave it a shot, and need some help. Anyone who has any suggestions e-mail me @ attackmongose85@yahoo.com or post an re:. thanx

But moving on, do you have windows or mac os? I have links to all the things you'll need for windows to make asm programs.

help me!

My USB link will absolutely not communicate with my TI-89. It seems to be a calculator problem because it works just fine with my TI-83p. I dont know anyone else with a TI-89 to test communication between 2 calculators. Any help would be appreciated.

I had the same problem once all you need to do to fix it is to go into the control panel (while your ti-89 is plugged in to the usb link thing and its all ready) and then go to add/remove hardware. then do the search for hardware connected but not installed and it should find your calc and then tell it to install by searching for drivers (should be the default) and it should work just dandy. Anywho hope this helps. Email me if you have anymore problems and let me know the specifics and maby i'll be able to help.

Fear

I am starting work on a new game in TI BASIC called "Fear". Basically you're a little square standing in the middle of the screen and walls gradually move in on you and other and things appear on the screen. If you get hit, you lose. You can chicken out at any time to end the game. Your score increases the longer you hold out. I hope to have it done by the end of the month.

Fire Emblem for TI-89...
Lord_TSD  Account Info

I'm thinking of starting a Fire Emblem project for the TI-89's, based on the recent release in America, FE7, Rekka no Ken. Anybody interested in playing such a game? I'm still just getting the sprites and such, and I have a few people willing to help, but if no one wants to play it, I won't make it.

If you are wondering if a lot of people will play it, just make it for the 83+/84+ because there are a lot more people with those than 89's. (and i have an 83+ and really want this game)

You can make it for ion/mirage os and use the built in sprite routines. That makes it much easier.

Just download Ti-Graphlink Software from Ti.com, then download games off of this site, then open the games you downloaded through Ti-Graphlink, then copy (by hand) the code into your calculator. Simple.
