Re: Upcoming TI-83 Plus Miscellaneous Programs

I haven't started yet, but I plan on making a program that uses the graphlink to print on a printer (of course) any message you put on your calculator. I'm reading up on pin layouts and printer specs. I also plan on putting formatting options in it, such as color, italics, bold, underline, and point size of the text. However, I don't know how to access the graphlink with ASM, so if anyone can tell me how to send a single bit to the graphlink, and even how to queue bits (if that's provided by the ti-83+) for sending, please email me your tip. I will most likely not check back with this forum, so your best bet for me recieving any comments or helpful hints is to email me at dreadknought22@hotmail.com (please no spam)

oh yeah, after this, if I'm successful, I'm going to see about hooking up a mouse to my calculator and make an actual mouse for your calculator, good for gaming, probably, and after that, I'm going to see about hooking a keyboard up to my calculator, and make it much easier and faster to type your messages for printing. I don't know what I'm going to try after that. But there are a few things I'd like to ask all of you. If anybody knows the voltage a ps/2 mouse requires, or if you know how to dissasemble an interrupt, specifically the printer, mouse, and keyboard interrupts, please email me at dreadknought22@hotmail.com. And once again, if you have any questions, comments, suggestions, or helpful hints, you should email them to me, as that is the best bet for me recieving it.

Mirage, but if they don't get their butts in gear and update it (it still crashes on my 83+se while running basic progs), I might want to switch to something like Ion :-\

If the mem menu is blocked, all you need to do is turn the calc on, then pull one of the batteries, thus resetting the calc, and deleting the application variable that contains the password.

If your friends are watching, then make it look cool by typing a couple of random passwords, then running the following program, to crash the calculator:

PRGM:A
Asm(PrgmB

PRGM:B
AsmPrgm
EF4045
000000
000000
000000

then, shift the calculator so that only you can see it, and delete the MirageOS appvar quickly.

enter mirage os showing them that the title screen is there, and the password is turned off.

Re: Upcoming TI-83 Plus Miscellaneous Programs

There are many new programs that should come to TI-Calc.org's TI-83(and +) Sections created by me. These include:

Yahoo Instant Messenger 1.0
- a few bugs need fixed, but still is good
NumbGues
- guess the number from 1-100. May make it to where
the user can select the range of about 50 or higher
Time
- Program, however not very accurate, that shows the
current time. Just input the Hour, Minute, and
Second. Off by about 2-3 seconds per minute.
Rand
- Random number generator that really has no use. You
could always use it for predictions. The beginning
number is between -130 and +130. The rest are
different from the last number up to ten.
Volumeg
- Group program that allows you to find the volume of
certain objects, including rectangular prisms.
ShapeCr8
- Draws shapes including circles, octagons, squares.

I am trying to create a program that has a windows-like user interface.

I would like to learn how to make a program be able to be read by ION or MirageOS. Also, I may submit a really cool temperature conversion program to the archives.

The Windows-like GUI is very difficult for beginners, (I asssume you are, Guessing Game, etc. ;) ), but look for Doors XP coming soon, a Multitasking GUI that supports AShell, SOS, Ion, DoorsXP, ASM, and BASIC progs. Check out www.DoorsXP.tk

Is there anyway you can convert Visual Basic, C++, or Qbasic files to ASM of Flash? These are the only languages I know. Please e-mail if you can. Thanks.
