How do I put my files in a ZIP file?

You will need a software program if your operating system did not come with a ZIP utility already. We offer our suggestions of programs for
a couple of operating systems, but for the most part you can choose whatever ZIP utility you want (check the documentation that comes with the software you use for details on its use).
If you are planning to upload to ticalc.org, be sure to check the compression options and select standard compression. Avoid settings named “maximum compression” or
similar, as these often create nonstandard ZIP files that our system will reject and most users will not be able to open.
