So the question is, how many folks clicked 'yes', thinking that ZShells are those girly multicolored calc cases?

Hey, those cases are neat! I just love being able to see through my "translucent" case! Now if only I could figure out why people stare at me during class...

Well, I have a unique case that no one else has for my 86. It is completely covered in tinfoil!!!! I also took the keys out and dyed them with first Kool Aide, didn't work, then with water color, didn't work, then I dyed them with industrial clothing dyes! I have all of my deys color coordinated! I have all sorts of people asking about it and my math teacher is amazed and confused at how much time I have on my hands due to our 200 problem a night average. But thanks to the wonderful math programs I have more time!
Thanks guys!

Ok why the heck would you cover your case in tin foil??? is there logic behind it? and why would you color cordinate your keys? I think you have some unresolved problems that need attention .

Im gonna have to agree with that guy. Too many issues, TOO little time.
(personally, I think he takes the fiol off in class to smoke crack in it)

Duct tape hmmm a little better than tin foil....can smoke the crack in Duct tape now can you...prolly not.....i like the idea but i dontthink i would do it....doesnt make sense when i have a perfectly good translucent red one that works just fine.....maybe ill do that when it breaks or cracks or somthing like that.

I was being sarcastic. I might by one for my old TI-83 that is falling apart. It's current case is so loose that it slips off when I pick it up. But I would NEVER put one of those stupid cases on my TI-89!

I would never be caught dead with one of those disgraces, I would rather slather my calc in tape or foil. I would never be caught with those girly colored things, and I am a girl, so that just goes to show you how GAY some guy is that puts one of those things on your calc. In fact if you put one of those things on your calc, don't even talk to me!

i voted no. even though i had heard the name before, and i knew it was an assembly shell, i did not know that it was a ti-85 shell, or the first ti assembly shell. i have never owned a ti-85, only an 82 and 83+, and i never had assembly shells or programs on the 82. i have actually used zshell, now that i think of it, on my friend's calculator, but back then, i didnt know the difference between assembly and ti-basic, or why i couldnt transfer it to my ti-82. oh well.

When i was our school's main source for games, i always thought it funny that they couldn't figure out how to send the games (even from 82 to 82). They didn't know what a backup was, but oh well...

But really I had heard about assembly on the TI-85 from a friend, he got his info from the net. There is nothing in the TI-85 manual. I latter got a TI-86, it supports assembly and hex op code. It wasn't until I came to TI-Calc.org that I found out about the Zshell. And yes, I know the Zshell isn't a sea shell. But I couldn't resist.

QUICK EVERYBODY! Start Downloading as many copies of ZShell as you can to keep it in the lead. VTI is only 331 downloads behind! Let's Boycott VTI!!!!! Who will join in our crusade? Who will be strong and stand with me? (that's from Les Miserables)

Why do you want to boycott VTI? What's wrong with it? VTI is a lot more useful than zshell, seeing how you can put Zshell on VTI.
By the way, "les miserables" sucked.

I'd say ZShell is (or at least in its day, was) a lot more useful for VTI. ZShell's something that the masses can use. Think about every download of ZShell from these archives--that particular copy of ZShell was probably spread like wildfire around the school of the person who downloaded it. Everyone that had an 85 would have used it. However, VTI isn't something that you're going to spread around school. No one wants to play calculator games on their computer, at home, away from boring classes. VTI's just a program that calculator nerds like you and me are going to want on our computers so we can write assembly programs.

Le Mis rocks! What the hell is wrong with you?! I think we should boycot you! Because if you fall as Lucifer fell, you fall in flames. So it is written on the doorway to paradise that those who falter and those who fall must pay the price. I shall never rest until you are safe behind bars, this I swear by the Staaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaars!
