I got fooled at first but after i found the link back I was fine. a great joke. too bad all the calc websites did the same thing

Yes... Scared the poopoo out of me! I thought someone forgot to pay the domain name bill. I saw it on March 31st; I completely forgot about April 1st.

Realistic and professional looking. Pretty clever guys!

Me too. Since I live at -6:00 of the GMT, the joke appeared on the day before April 1st.

I am at -9:00 GMT but after seeing April fools jokes appear in march last year I expected to see a joke later in the day.

it was very real-looking. i was fooled and kind of scared. it was like one of those random search engine things when you type in a wierd url. i thought ticalc forgot to pay the domain bill or was down or something. i didnt realize that it was april 1st =P

It depends on the size of the file queue and how busy the file archivers are. A day to a month is a pretty good range, but it's more likely to be within a day to a week.

I have to agree that it was cruel, it took me the better part of the day to figure out how to crack through to a news post. Even then, it was out of date.

actually it was, especially when you realize maybe only 45 to 50 people actually figured out the trick :D
