As long as people have time, I don't think that they would reject an opportunity to be featured in the newsletter, but an interview only about TI calculators would be limited and short, if you did not contribute to the TI community too much.

I haven't been around long, but I still think I could say a lot in an interview.

Unless you've been around long enough to have seen a lot of stuff go through...

I think I can see inside that joke (or at least, part of it), but what do I know. :)

I can't. The <inside_joke> tag was missing, so my browser didn't render it.

(And I have yet to see a Windows program run 100% correctly on WINE. Maybe it's my configuration, I don't know. Of course, I know it was just a joke, though.)

How about one where you juxtapose an interview of one of the old school asm programmers, like Bill Nagel, or Sam Heald (but please not Patrick Davidson, I think we've done him a bit too much) with one of the newer C programmers (too many names to list here. I think you already did JfG didn't you?) or even better one of the very sophisticated BASIC guys who really represent a new age of TI programming, like Kevin Oulette. That could be interesting to see how the process has changed as it has become so much more accessible, as resources have broadened, and so has the knowledge and code base to draw from.

I actually got ahold of Bill Nagel a few months back and he agreed to do an email interview, however I think my leaving ticalc played apart in not returning it. Either that or I overwhelmed him with the questions :-)

They know me well enough to know that I don;t check anythign befero I post unless it was going on a static web page.

I would like to see some of the retirees interviewed with a new promising member for a newsletter. It actually isn;t that hard to get ahold of anyone if you search for them on the web thoroughly.
