Well, I can understand him making a comment, but for him to have a TI-89 and not to have used even ONE of the programs up there is crazy. These are very popular programs. It's almost impossible not to have heard of them if you're in to TI calcs at all...
As for me, I've tried almost all of them. I will need to download the rest and see how they are.

But yet you have a TI-89. How odd.

And you have a good chance of winning too. It's kind of like the academy awards, the ones that always win are the one's that come out right beore the new year....cough cough...."LOTR"!

Yeah, I think so too. I said something to that affect in one of the first comments that I made. Good timing on releasing the program ;-)

And I STILL haven't beaten the tournament, yet.

I play it too much in class. I'm getting pretty good at it now, but I always have to exit the game for one reason or another, like today, when I had to quit my current game to take my honors geometry test (couldn't go back to OS w/o losing game). You know what would be a nice feature? To be able to completely leave the game, exit to the OS and all, and restore your game later. Sort of like you can in some other games, like Phoenix.

Well this comment is half about the 89 and half about something else. Firt I must say that Gran Turismo is the best game for the 89 because it is basically done. The second thing is... Does anybody remember my post on ticalc.org last week about Age of Empires 2:the age of calcs??? for the 83+ Well... ...its uploaded YAY! Also be looking for an expansion with score and high score tables in about two weeks :( ...And if I decide to make it another expansion with two player capabilities. If you decide to download it then please send me feed back thanx

I downloaded your age of empires game but it ran really really slow, the 'graphics' are basically letters on the screen, and i gave up after about the fifth time it displayed the loading or waiting or whatever screen it was in the first minute... You really need to learn assembly.
Ill give you an A for effort but this game in basic really sucks.

Well nick do you know assembly? and if so can you teach me or at least give me a website with toutorials to learn how to program assembly

DOES ANYBODY KNOW HOW TO PROGRAM ASSEMBLY SO I CAN MAKE MY GAME MUCH BETTER? (A TOUTORIAL OR JUST A FEW COMMANDS WOULD HELP MY GAME A BUNCH.)

Check out some of my games by clicking the link...

Anyways, i recommend asmguru by James Matthews and a few source codes, particularly Megaman 83. Getting started is the hardest part...

Click the Programming link at the top of the page, then Columns And Tutorials. There should be some assembly ones.

How many times do I have to say, BASIC is great for some games. Expecially TI-68K BASIC.

True, but it's also not good for others.

Yep. For( loops: WAY TOO SLOW. And you can't use sprites in Z80 BASIC. And when a menu's enabled, you can't combine it with getKey() or Pause. And so much more.
