Thanks for responding, Richard.  I figured you would.  I don't know about
you, but I'm getting sick of all this crap about OS's....Anyway, I think I
may have found my processor.  Motorola makes a 16-bit 60 MHz processor with
576K ROM, and a ton more RAM.  I'd have to consult the documentation on
whether I can use external ROM or not (like a video game cartridge).  Also,
Motorola has a 16-/24-bit processor designend specifically for digital audio
(which is what I'm doing), so I might look into that.  I'm still a little
unsure of where to get my memory chips though....
