No, usally in a dual processor enviroment, you have your main chip running
your OS
and your second running all of your app's and I/O. I does increase your
speed because the
processor doing all of the work is no longer bogged down with the OS. But,
you can't simply
add the MHz, because both chips are using the same memory and I/O bus (In
more than
two processors this may not be the case).
