There is a talk program TALk-85, I tried it once and it works fine with 
only a little slowness sometimes.  But it's kinda stupid when the person 
you are chatting with is 5 feet away.  So a talk program would be better 
with an RT link.  Also the program running inside the calc does not care 
what is going on after the data is sent through the port.  It doesn't 
care if there is a cable, a RT link, an Ir link, or a modem.  So if 
someone has pair of working links(any kind), the talk program should 
work.  :)
