So in english...as long as x is greater than 12/5, 5x-12 is greater than 0.

You can also see this graphically....graph y=5x-12
This will make a linear graph. The part of the graph below the x-axis is
negative values, the part above positive values. The line cross the x-axis
at 12/5 since 5x-12=0 when x=12/5
So therefore when x > 12/5 y will be > 0.
