The two main "shells" for the TI-86 are ASE and Rascall.  Both provide
TI-85 emulation of ZShell, Usgard, Rigel, and PhatOS programs.  You can
find these at http://www.ticalc.org/pub/86/asm/shells/  You can also
check out http://www.ticalc.org/features/info/asmshells.html for a
comparison of the different shells available.  But a shell is not
required to run TI-86 assembly programs.
