Sorry, it was a slang term at my high school meaning mac users.  We had a
strong division between the IBM kids (me included) and the Mac owning
teachers (Carl Lenze, mainly).  I guess mac'er slipped into my
vocabulary, and my friends at school were the only computer people I
talked to.  So, all it means is Mac user.
