SymbMath (an abbreviation for Symbolic Mathematics) is a symbolic
calculator that can solve symbolic math problems.  SymbMath is a computer
algebra system that can perform exact numeric, symbolic and graphic
computation.  It manipulates complicated formulas and returns answers in
terms of symbols, formulas, exact numbers, tables and graphs.

This advanced system is able to learn from users' input.  SymbMath is a
symbolic, numeric and graphic computing environment where you can set up,
run and document your calculation, draw your graph, and use external
functions in the same way as standard functions since the external
functions are auto-loaded.  SymbMath is a programming language in which
you can define conditional, case, piecewise, recursion, multi-value
functions and procedures, derivatives, integrals and rules.  SymbMath is
database where you can search your data.  SymbMath is a multi-windowed
editor in which you can copy-and-paste anywhere in a file and between
files, even from the Help file.  It is a symbolic math engine in other
software by interface with other languages such as Basic, Pascal, and C.

    Visual Math For Java is a Java applet to serve as graphic calculator,
equation solver, plotter of functions, derivatives and integrals.
     For calculation, users type expressions into the f(x) field
or click on the LIST of functions, then click on the "=" button.
     For evaluation of a function sin(x), first input sin(x) into the
f(x) field, then input the x value into the "x=" field, finally click
the "=" button to get the function value.
     For solving an equation sin(x)=0, type the left side of the
equation sin(x) into the f(x) field, click on the "solve" menu to get
a solution at the "x=" field.
     For plotting functions, click on the "Plot", "Zoom In" or "Zoom
Out" menu. For plotting first-order of derivative, click on the "dy/dx"
menu. For second-order of derivative, click on the "dy/dx" menu again.
For plotting its integral, click on the "Integrate" menu.
     On graphics, you can find coordinates by clicking, input the
initial value to the "x=" field by double-clicking, zoom by drag.
     For solving a system of equations, type an equation into the
f(x) field, click on the "Plot" menu, then type another equation over
the f(x) field, click on the "Plot" menu. The solutions are the cross
of these curves.
     You can copy-and-paste the text field from and to your document
by right-button clicking on the text field to pop-up menu. For second
way of copy-and-paste, first select the text, then key in Ctrl+C (i.e.
press the Ctrl key and the C key at the same time), then point to where
you want to paste, and finally key in Ctrl+V (i.e. press the Ctrl key
and the V key at the same time).
     It runs on any computer that can run Java-enabled browsers,
e.g. Internet Explorer 3.0 or Netscape 2.0, Lotus Notes. If you
see it online, your computer can run it in your hard disk.
