whoops, sorry, I was confused about POPs and SMTPs...
Yahoo does NOT offer POP3 access. This means you can't receive mail through
your mailer like outlook/eudora/composer.
Yahoo does NOT offer SMTP access unless you're signed up with Yahoo as your
service provider. I've just tried it again, it rejects me, that's also
documented in their help.
