A83: Calling All Great Programers Part IV!! Or anyone else that owns an 83+

Hello friends. It is I again with another question but this one is not so
simple. As you well know I own an 83+ and was happy with it until last
thurs. My friend wanted to play bomberman with me, the one that uses
Mirage. I had been working on some programs for my calc class and didn't
have Mirage at the time(I got sick of it messing up when I graphed
stuff). He went and sent me the game and the App Var. When he realized
his mistake he went and linked us back up but my calc wouldn't go into
recieving mode. After about 5 trials we decided to give up but(Here's the
problem) my calc locked up. Now usually when this happens first thing I
do is take out the link cord and see what's up. When I took out the link
cord my calc was fine(or so I thought). I went to the memory/delete
screen which is usually where I fisrt see problems, like lists taking up
6k or weird stuff like that. I noticed that all of the values seemed
normal and hit 2nd quit to exit. When I did this the run indicator came
on and then the screen went blank. Then three lines showed up on my calc
screen and disappeared slowly one pixel at a time. This had happened
before when I messed something up in calcsys or when I was running a bad
assembly program. I went and took out a battery like I usually do to
reset the Ram after a crash like this but it didn't reset the RAM it gave
me the waiting please install calculator software now message. So I ask
my friend to borrow his calc to reload the software but my calc won't
accept the software. So when I get home I go to my computer and try and
load the software from it but that doesn't work either. I took out all of
the batteries in hopes that it would fix the problem but It didn't. I
haven't had a chance to call TI yet because I haven't been home when they
were open and I was wondering did any of you guys know how to help
me. Thanks alot to all who reply.
