Advanced Text Editor v1.0 Released
Posted by Eric on 27 April 2001, 00:57 GMT

ATE v1.0Yup, it's true. Jonah Cohen's popular all-purpose editor for the TI-86, Advanced Text Editor, has reached the big one-point-oh release. That means it's out of beta stage, for you slow ones. New in this version is a complete restructuring New and Open menus, a shortcut to frequently typed items, default source files, auto-indenting, and a whole lot more.

This has nothing to do with the topic, but what jerk thought it would be funny to add the fake street fighter 2 file.

They're not fake... they're real files. They have a single byte missing which makes them work on the calculator. Give me 5 min. with a hex editor, and I'd have it fixed for you.
