TI-84+CSE/CE BASIC POTY opens

The first of the color calculator polls is now open for Program of the Year voting. The number of programs released and the unusual compatibility characteristics of the TI-84 Plus CSE and CE (many TI-BASIC programs run on both, but other types do not) means that deciding how to categorize the programs for POTY was less than straightforward. For this year, we chose to divide the contestants into three categories:
- 84+CSE/CE BASIC
- 84+CSE Assembly (the CSE version of Portal Returns is the only entry)
- 84+CE Assembly
The first poll will be for the BASIC programs. Five of the entries are the ports of TI's STEM Behind Hollywood activities; they count as separate entries since they were uploaded as separate programs. The remaining contestant is First Fantasy: Mana Force.
