This looks like a well made racing game, but that's exactly what it is: a rehashed top-view racer. Yet another reinvention of the wheel.

If the wheel isn't broken, many times it is better to leave it unfixed.

Definitely, and what's the deal with the Squaresoft constantly releasing new RPGs? they keep reinventing the wheel over and over!

If it doesn't just compile the source with the latest TIGCC beta :)

And by the looks of it it is compiled with TIGCC 0.96 beta 6. meaning that if the normal 89 binary does not work on the 89T, you will have to modify the source code so it does. But most programs now are compatible with the 89T :)

I just tried the game on my titanium, and it works.
It's a great game!

i think that the brake key should be shift, like in GT 89

It pretty similar to megaCar for the 83+, so check that out. To my knowledge it works witht he 84+ too.

I have megacar, but karting's backround is better.

there are plenty of mega car games for the 89 as well.

Yup, have most of those as well, though MegaCar for the 83+ remains one of my favorite.
