Matthew Shepcar of Icarus Productions has released the first public beta of Bomberbloke for the TI-86. This is a complete remake of the popular game, Bomberman, for the TI-86. In addition to single player mode, Bomberbloke supports up to four plays and features many powerups. This is a 10-level preview version, but you can expect another version to be out soon.

89 owner

you know i agree it would be kewl to have this for the 89 BUT you don't just demand ports (like hundreads of people have done for Zelda 89) and the 89 has its own games that the 86 doesn't have and alll of the 86 owners don't go around saying PORT THIS PORT THAT.

Hello Guys

Hello guys, the TI-86 and the TI-89 use totally different microchips. This is why ti86 and ti89 are not ported to each other

You people need to chill. You bought an 89 and that's your problem. I'm tired of all this "PORT IT NOW OF ELSE" s$%t. If you can't play it, that's your problem, not us 86'ers.

Ill say it once and ill say it again. I will never buy a calculator that dosent have Plain Jump on it when the ti-89 has plain jump I will think about buying it.

Yeah, I had an 86 and recently got an 89, and the only thing that sucks about it is that the tetris sucks compared to ztetris on the 86, and it doesn't have plain jump.

The Tetris for the 89 graphics are better, though. What sucks about it is that the 2-player mode is not reliable, especially with a Z80 calc.

By the way, This game is simply AWSOME. the only bad thing is the timer.. but other than that, this took the place of mario on my calc.

Maybe it's just me, but this game really needs a pause and save key. Otherwise, a great game.

It does actually have a pause key: F1
A save feature will be implemented in the next version.

I enjoy the game but I am unable to complete any of the levels. For example, in the first level I kill all enemies however once I kill all three and the game still does not recognize this and when the timer runs out it is a game over!?!

Jeez!

I have an 86 an and 89. I like the 89 a whole lot, and I like the 86 too. People should ask nicely for a port, and NOT discourage ports. I would love to see a port to the 89, but it is stupid to demand it...

Thats so selfish, just because you have it you don't want anyone else with other calcs to have it.

It needs to be put on other calcs. The multiplayer is awsome, but not all my friends have 86's. It wold be better for the 85 so 85's and 86's could use it. Someone try putting the wins to 3 in multiplayer and play it in single player, does it mess up for anyone else, mine always says "Player one won".

Great game! Now all we need is a asm shell that doesn't crash!!!

Is it just me, or do calcs with built-in asm support seem to crash more often?

Crashes on the 86? I haven't noticed it. I've had it since september and I don't think I've ever had it crash. (except on crappy games). I don't use a shell though... I guess Asm( is safer
