Heh.. what lamers would SELL advertizing? Especially on a .org (isn't .org non-profit organization?) Who would want ads on their lame site anyway? A TI site trying to make money.. heh heh heh

Re: Re: TI-Files selling advertisements

Does it matter? What is they make money out of this? I'd rather attempt to make money than to just sit on my ass all day.

I forgot that running an organization site doesn't cost anything, silly me. I was wondering why they didn't have any ads, cuz if you were SMART you'd understand that it DOES cost quite a bit of money to run a server. Apparently there is some affiliation with an ISP, so they didn't really need to worry about money. But stuff like internic and lawsuites from TI are gonna cost...

If ticalc.org did that there would people who would stop visiting it. ticalc.org finances their server through contributions.

Hacked

Every time I got to www.ti-files.org, Internet Explorer bumps me to www.z3r0c0c0l.net instead and I get a picture of some goofy guy saying they (or I) have been hacked. What's up with that?

You need to flush your cache then go to ti-files and hit the reload button in your browser.

For someone who affiliated themselves with TI-Files for a long time, WorryRock, you sure have nerve to talk smack about it now. Granted the site has been lacking for awhile.. but I believe the expression "let sleeping dogs lie" works best here. Ti-Files doesnt claim to be the greatest (unlike your aggrandized little postings to this message board), and if putting advertisements up helps OR hinders them, it should be none of your concern. In other words: you're a dumbass. :)

Good Decision...

Actually, you are the dumbass. I am sure that when WorryRock left the philes, that was his best decition in a long time.

WOW!, another dumbass. Can't you see I spelled it right in the subject line, which means I CAN spell it. And guess what dumbass, when you refer to yourself, you capitalize the letter "I". Now, who is the fucker who cannot spell?
