Wasn't there a TI-Pornview program featured this year? It was in TI-83+ assembly medias (animations)

j/k

Voted for Tiny CarZ, I didnt tried this game, but i tried the prequel, TinyCars, back a few years ago, and it was amazing, and from what i saw this one seems better

I considered voting for TinyCarz... I downloaded it the day it appeared, without actually having ever heard of TinyCars. It was great.

But I voted for DAWG, because I felt it was more innovative.

DAWG was the reason my English teacher allowed me to use my calculator during his class.... I think he was really impressed with the missing letter function

I think Real Sound deserves the win. It's the innovative programs that really stand out to me.

It was hard to decide - TinyCar is a really fun game, and Realsound and MSD8x really do some interesting stuff with the hardware.

msd8x is the best program ever -- most useful

I'm still hoping to see an update for it -- my drive runs but won't auto-launch

Although I can't get it to work with my flash drive, I think msd8x is the best idea.

I that DAWG was innovative, but not very useful in everyday life. I'm a junior in high school in all advanced courses and msd8x takes the cake. It's great to not have to start up a computer every time you need a certain program. That, and my school has has strict rules on calculator games. Being able to keep all of them on a flash drive has kept me out of trouble a lot (evil laugh).

Agreed! It allowed me to put about 90 seconds of STAR WARS music on my 84+ SE! I would have voted msd8x, but I haven't yet gotten a cable to try it out. . .

Wow...ever since I got a TI-89 Titanium I have gotten REALLY out of touch with the 83+/84+ world. I'm really gonna have to start using my 84+ SE again if I want to make an educated vote.

wow...I am in exactly the same situation: I didn't touch my 84SE for about a month now because I got the 89T. Plus, we got same last name...

anyway, I went for msd8x.

Heh, you'll never use a graphing calculator again once you go to college. :)

no kidding. its my first sym. and I'm in precalc. everyone was shocked we couldn't use them.

strange because I know people who took ap-classes and dual-enrollment classes and could use them...

Well, maybe not in math, but certainly you'll use it in any of the sciences or engineering. . .

Agreed. I use my 89T almost everyday for huge formulas, hex conversion, etc. Engineering DEMANDS an 89/89T.

I'm in my fourth year of college and I still use my TI-89 almost every day.

There's no faster way to:
* Inspect a function
* Convert hex > dec and back
* Unit conversions
* Quickly adjust a formula before placing it into JavaScript or ActionScript
* The "solve(" function is the greatest thing ever!

And to think, I have no idea how to do that on my 89ti but can do it all quickly with my 83/84
