But that is true... they never mention a "light side" etc. Maybe it just didn't sound right or something. It doesn't have the same effect as "COME TO THE dARK sIDE."

If you ran your own server like me then you could just set it to http://localhost, even though I still don't set it as my homepage and you still have to be connected to the internet for it to work.

Why do you have to be connected to the Internet for localhost to be accessible? I mean, it's *local*host!

If you use Netscape or Mozilla, you could set your homepage to your bookmarks.html file. :-) Not that I've ever done that. The Bookmarks tab in the Sidebar works fine for me.

I'm another one of the people that doesn't use a home page. I don't always go to the same website each time, and I leave my browser running all the time (even when I'm not connected), so there's not much of a purpose for having a home page. I just use my bookmarks or keywords instead.

I'm not sure if Mozilla internally uses about:blank if you set it to not use a home page. But you could say that's what I use, since it technically makes no difference (other than leaving the URL bar blank instead of saying "about:blank", so I can type something else right away).
