Re: TI-H: Installing El Panels

On mine, I unfolded the ribbon cables so I could get a little wiggling
room. Then I held a razor knife (refill type used for utilty knives) with
some pliers and gently pushed it in. Sometimes the pressure from inserting
the knife will cause the LCD to discolor, so be careful about that.

I just moved the knife around the LCD until I had it loose. Then I peeled
what remained of the foam from the back of the LCD and from the circuit
board. Then, using the same knife blade, I picked the corner of the mirror
from the LCD and peeled it off. Nice and clear, but with a tint of green.
