I get an error when I upload my screenshots. Why?

As it says on the File Upload Form, your screenshots must be uploaded in GIF format. Simply renaming them to end with “.gif” does not actually convert images to GIF format. We are currently looking into changes that would allow other image formats to be accepted, but until this is implemented, you run the risk of your screenshots never being approved if they are not actual, valid GIF files.
