I chose parametric, since it is the most versatile. I do wish there was a mode that let you specify each pixel's value as a function of its coordinates (that was fast enough, of course).
 I know it can be done via ASM, but once it requires writing code on a PC I could just use the PC to do the rendering in the first place, & if it let you use EOS/AMS code for the function definitions it would probably be too slow even with ASM for the rendering loop.

I chose 3D, because I enjoy plotting 3D functions and making 3D graphing applications. The others are fine too, of course.
