That would be a race condition instead, as it's unknown who would kill whom first. Once someone is dead, the state (either the domain is taken over or someone resists) would persist. We just don't know which state that would be without knowing the exact timing of events.

Of course, elfprince13 and slimey_limey could kill each other, and we wouldn't have to worry about them resisting or taking over the domain any more. :)
