Personally, I think both rom8x and TilEm were both good, because they are the only ROM dumper and emulator that works with my 84+. Eventually, I chose rom8x because TilEm lacks a lot of functionality my real calc offers (like groups).

Oof! This was a hard decision to make! Both TiEmu and TilEm are excellent, just excellent, emulators. And rom8x allowed me to finally emulate my beloved 84+ SE. Still, I had to go with TilEm; I've crashed its virtual calcs countless times testing my ASM programs. Thank you TilEm!!!!!

I've never used any of these - bring some Mac compatability, people!

TiEmu works fine on OS X, there are even screenshots on our web page. And there's a Fink package for TiEmu 2.

Hopefully "I have no opinion" will not win again...

No chance of SourceCoder getting in there? :(

SourceCoder is definitely good enough to qualify for the POTY award! Good job Kerm!

However, I don't think Ticalc currently has a "Web Service" POTY category.

Technically...

It is not a featured program for 2005. So, it does not qualify for POTY 2005. But that could all change for 2006. Maybe 2006 will be Kerm's year! ;)

You should make it downloadable. Then it would be a PC program.

Idea: upload the PHP source in the archives.

The problem is that so few people have PHP installed on their home computers though.

that is true, but then again, people do have it. It isn't hard with programs like Xampp, which also will give you MYSQL and FTP server (I love it)

Why would you care? Just upload it, get it featured (citing the mention in a news item) and then people who really liked your web service will vote for it whether they got it to run on their own PC or not. :-)

I don't think it would be featured because very few people could run it, and the entire purpose would be defeated. TI Connect and many other programs will perform the same functions as SourceCoder. The whole point was the convenience of having it accessible online without needing any software installed.
