I actually do have a project (in 68k assembly) but I'm not telling anyone until it's done. I hope I don't sound like those crackpots who hang around science lectures and say that they are mathematicians/scientists, but can't disclose their work because it's what the men in white coats want. (Or something like that.) Happy Hacking!

I have 4 projects to work on, not counting my site that I want to get a big majority done by the end of summer. (Link above)

I have started back to work on Ultima V: Warriors of Destiny for the 68K calcs after a short break to work on Astrosmash.

Would anyone like to help with the music files? I plan on using Polysound or Midi68K to play the music.

I think polysound is more efficient.

I am hoping to finish Super Mario Rampage 68k. Kind of messed up, but so am I. I just liked the concept of the flash version of the game so much I had to make my own version that was more fun.

I am going to finish the best non grayscale basic RPG in the world. It is called Bandit and had a demo version uploaded already. The Demo though is not very much fun and the program already has seen much improvement from the Demo. Some bugs have been fixed, the overworld map is almost keyed in, it works slightly faster in some parts, and it has an opening storyline keyed into the new game feature.
This is a rapid progressing game that will most definately be completed. Hopefully by the end of summer.
Also, if you are a good artist, I need some pictures of people, a boy warior and a girl mage/archer, to be made on the 83+/84+ screen to fit into some 24 by 24 pixel area i think. Download Bandit to find out more about drawing good graphics. I really need an artist. Email me at chessfreak2007@yahoo.com to suggest anything to me. I value your input.

Actually, your RPG will soon be destroyed by a project at Cemetech that is currently a closely guarded secret.

Geez, convert to ASM... BASIC is only good for RPGs, and only barely... Besides, compared to Reuben Quest and a bunch of other RPGs by that one guy, your RPG is gonna suck.

they are proxy servers running a squid filter. A school has them and they suck. They can be disabled on individual computers, but its annnoying, and our schools computers have DeepFreeze so you have to redo it every time...

I guess I was lucky, then - my schools only had Fortres, which does not undo changes. I was able to hack around that until we got WinXP.

Don't be so hard on BASIC! BASIC is good for, um... math programs. It's also good for "guess the number" games!

By "that one guy," you'd better be referring to Kevin Ouellet.
Thank heaven he finally found a TI Connect-compatible installation process.

yep and somebody needs to port it to FLASH APP so that it will work on my 83+ AND justify the space it takes. Not to mention that its annoying when stuff is split into like 20 sub programs and you can't find that one other program you had.

One of my friend is currently playing reuben quest on his regular 83+. Keep in mind that it has only been tested on OS 1.14, 1.16 and 1.18

Some simple arcade games are actually better and easier to write in BASIC [maybe some are even faster!] than in ASM.. but for more complex games, ASM is definitely a better choice

Why not break out of the stereotypes and have a girl warrior and boy mage/archer instead? (Now I'm sounding like a character from the Mallard Fillmore comic strip...)
