Buy a Ti89 Titanium. It's the best!!! More memory. Faster processer, and much more.

Faster processor?
In raw megatertage, no. It's a few MHx slower than the 84+(SE).

But, I suppose it is more feature-rich, and so can get many things done in fewer clock cycles.

No way, a TI 84 plus silver edition is better than a TI 89ti (I have a TI84plusse)

I have an 84+ SE too. Just got it. I've never seen an actual 89. I'd love to have one of those

Fair enough.
I have no need for chocolate, but need a calculator for my exams. So I'll go for that.
Shame it's got to be a funny little Casio one...

Chocolate lasts three seconds before I'm done with it, so going by long lasting value, the TI Calculator obviously wins. I'd pick the calc any day.

See what happens when we run out of ideas? PLEASE send new surveys to survey@ticalc.org so we don't have any more like this.

(Confidential to Jonathan Katz: Just kidding.) :-p

Well, I have 2 83+'s and an 89T, that should do me for now... But I would *like* to have an 84+SE, but that's not critical... So I guess I'll take the chocolates by default. :)

A chocolate calculator? *endorsed by Cadburry? fuun
I'd like a siding of Ti89Ti with that. I doubt I'd be allowed to use it in AU exams until next year when the calculator review changes go into effect. Apparently they gave up on restricting us to the 83+ and lower for exams because of programs like Omnicalc, thanks DS.
Can anyone beat AUD$220 inc GST $0 postage for a Ti 89 Titanium?

AUD$ = Austrialian Dollar? I know where you can get an 89Ti for $120USD, but I don't know about shipping.

well... you are all lucky... i live in Portugal... i managed to buy my TI-89 HW2 for 155€ ... the price on usual stores was (and is) 200€ - 250€... and the TI-89 Titanium... is to expensive to be sold... i saw one at 350€... *glup* i can get one for 220€ but for now my TI-89 is quite enough...

Wow. That's pretty bad. If I did the exchange rate calculation correctly, that's 280USD. Eeek.
