I always love reading the interviews from old newsletters. It's also fun to go way back and see things like "TI83+ to be released next week".

That's what I voted for too! I especially liked the one where they showed that 1337+666=2003. Also the "list of ten things that showed you're obsessed with calcs". More than half the things on that list applied to me...

Yeah, I liked those too! I chose the humor section as my favorite, also.

And then turn it into some sort of contest called "How many corrections you can find?" I kind of like that idea... :P

But you gotta put at least one really hard error that no one will get... and theres gotta be a prize... like "If you can find all the errors, we'll feature one of you programs!!!". I know I'd look as hard as I could for any.

P.S. Couldn't they just put it in a spell checker or grammar checker...

Re: Re: Re:

Spellshecker or grammar checker wouldn't work if the error was "the 83 came before the 82"...

Good point. Besides, you can't trust those spelling/grammar checkers. They miss a lot of errors.

Oh, I didn't even think of anything like that. True it wouldn't work for those, but most of his errors would be spelling. He would only throw a couple of errors like that in, so that would be all you would have to look for...I think.

Ummm, I'm sorry if I'm mistaken, but is there ANYTHING different between those two things???

*hides from the evil Java*

Hey, you took Java in school, right? Did you guys get to go over applets? Because, we didn't. :(

Oh wait! I just realized something! Those are both strings, so you have to use .equals() and a logical not (!).

System.out.println("Java doesn't like me.");

if ("$d632" != "$d623") {

The output:

Jake is blind

Look over the above code more carefully now. You'll see why these mistakes were easily made by burntfuse.
