Why?! I could've told you those lines straight from my brain. Then again.. I've seen pretty much every episode several times over. Other than 1 news channel, The Simpsons remains the 2nd most watched show at 10pm where I live.. and their all re-runs!

First, that was on the link, why did you post it?
Second, its not from the simpsons, it was only made famous by the simpsons. It is the classic example of a result from the "telephone" game. You know, where one person was told something, then that person said it to the next person, and that next person had to think of what the first person said.

But the "purple monkey dishwasher" quote came from The Simpsons. The telephone concept isn't relevant, it's the _quote_ that makes it come from The Simpsons.

That's surprising. The poll was posted a half an hour before you made your vote/comment. Usually there's way more than two votes by then.

Third on the poll. Someone once contacted me about a program, but it was just to ask permission to alter it.

well, i voted "suggestions" because that is the majority. But the first feedback was bug report, then suggestions/questions, and then ive gotten a bunch of suggestions/praises/bugs on beta tests, but those dont really count.

I don't get any feedback unless I prod people in #TCPA to try a program I made. That doesn't count because it was solicited.
