They needed to have a General Programming option too ^_^

I'll side with that, But I would still have voted for programming on the calc (first of all because this is a "calc" site and second of all I'm not that gr8 at programming on computers) having that option would help even out the standings. Obiously if someone comes to this site they either program or want to program on "calcs" not gameboys!

What about making programs that other people think are games but are actually for catching up on schoolwork and are for work while eating and catching catnaps between inspirations for new code blocks while other people play either with or without snow during a time that, for you at least, is actually not a holiday?

I highly doubt that if you make a program for school other people would think of it as a game :) ...BUT I'll give you an A+ on effort for encorporating all of the choices to make it sound cool.

Um a lot of these apply.

I don't need to catch up on school b/c I already had exams.
I also hope to have some maitenance updates for some of my calculator programs.
I plan on eating and sleeping
I will spend some time working: coding visual basic. (my boss likes the language)
And I will spend a lot of time on video games. In the spirit of Chrimas selfishness my sister is only getting half the useage rights to a nintendo gamecube. I might lower that to a third as $50 is too much for a sister.

"...as $50 is too much for a sister..."

LOL! This may sound mean, but last night around 1:00, I realized that I didn't get my sister anything for Christmas, so I grabbed 10 dollars (my allowance), put one of those "Merry Christmas" stickers on it, and stuck it under the tree. She didn't seem to care. :-D

Something more horible: The sister who got 1/3 of a gamecube once got me "dinner and desert" as a present. The dinner was a can of sardines in mustard sauce. The "desert" was one of those chocolate oranges you hit then they fall apart into slices.

And how did she get 1/3 of a gamecube? ;-) Did you take it apart, or were you referring to 1/3 of the privileges to use it?

I actually do like sardines.

She gets 1/3 the priveledges. In reality I'm not going to watch over her with a stopwatch so she can use it as much as she wants/within reason.

Honestly, I couldn't vote for ANY of them:
Catching up on school > Finals were a few weeks ago
Programming my calculator > Taking a break...
Playing games on or off calculator > My dad's home...
Eating > Dieting
Sleeping > No time
Playing in the snow > No snow
Playing outdoors without snow > No time
Working > No job
Holiday? > I celebrate Christmas, however slightly different than most of the rest of the U.S.

So there you have it. A reason to ALWAYS include a default case in a C++ switch statement...I mean, the reason you should have a "none of the above" choice. Sorry, English is my SECOND language. C++ is my first.

HA, English is your second language to C++. Very clever. Oh yah, um, I just have one question, how can you not have a job, be taking a break from claculator programming, not be able to play games at your dad's, and still not have any time for SLEEPING??? THERE'S ALWAYS TIME FOR SLEEPING!!! Oh well, have fun with your amended Christmas.

Amended because we don't get gifts...we go to homeless shelters and give them...It really is a great experience. Also, the reason I said no time for sleep...I meant no MORE time than usual. I always got about 9 hours and I have no time for MORE than that because my aunt is here for christmas, my dad (who is a truckdriver) is home and I want to spend time with him, and also because with six kids in my family it's kinda hard to get sleep anyway...

I just noticed...It's not my dad's home...my parents aren't divorced. It's just that I want to spend time with my dad because he is home from work...he's a truck driver and I only get to see him about a week out of every month...if that...

On school days, I only get about 6-7 hours of sleep. :( That isn't healthy, but it's because I don't like to go to sleep early. Waking up at 6:00 kills me.

Well, didn't mean to pry into your personal life. So you only get 9 hours of sleep? Man, I got 14 today. I'm going for sixteen tomarrow night. lol. I'm totally catching up on the 4 hours of sleep i miss each night. I only get 4 on schooldays. Not a bad racket though, 8 hours at school, 12 hours of freetime (including chores) Well, anyway, Happy Christmas, and Merry Channaka, and I'm not going to bother with Kwanza or Ramadaa because they're foreign to me. Plus Kwanza was just meant to be a crowd pleaser. It's not even religious.

No, it's fine, you didn't pry into my personal life ;-) Yeah, last night, I stayed up until 1:00 or 2:00... can't really remember, and my sister woke us all up early for Christmas this morning, so I didn't get very much sleep last night, either. Though, if I get the chance, I can sleep in forever, until somebody wakes me up. The most I've done before is about 14 (I'm sure many people have beaten that, but that's pretty good for me), but it was after a sleepover where I stayed up all night, so I expected to get a lot of sleep, then.

You mean you get less? Or do you mean, why do I get so few hours of sleep? It's probably because 1) I don't particularly like to go to sleep, I'd rather stay on the computer, and 2) when I go to bed, it takes me forever to fall asleep.

I know, getting up early is horrible. 6:30 is a bit better than 6:00, but it's still really early. Our bus comes at a horrible time. We get dropped off at school way before it starts, so I think it's kind of pointless, though I don't think the extra half hour of sleep would really make that much of a difference.
