I'm just saying that you don't need to type anything (url optional) and its dumb to link to the ticalc homepage when we all have ticalc.org set as our first toolbar "Link" in IE. Sorry guys, google long ago won my default "onload" homepage.

Yeah, I go to ticalc.org probably most often but if I want to go to google or another site, i'd rather be loading google that ticalc.org (loading time). Also, sorry guys, but my calc life takes a supreme backseat to my programming life

Then get a TI-89 and learn C! That's a more modernly-used type of language, rather than ASM. Not that ASM is bad or anything... it's just more challenging, and it takes much longer to write an ASM program than it would to write one in another programming language like C.

yeah, im learning c++... about 3-4 hours through the "sam's teach yourself C++ in 24 hours" book.

I like to learn multiple languages at the same time.

I was learning C++, Prolog, and Python at the same time recently. I don't really remember the specifics of the languages (except C++ I guess), but I now understand the underlying concepts of them (Prolog is a declarative language, for example).

Maybe if I needed to use the languages for anything practical, I'd get references book and pick them up again quickly.

I always thought it would be interesting to see the hit stats for google.com/mgyhp.html. It must be cool to see more and more people sign up every second.

fyi usa today got info from a study somebody did and published that every time there is a question on "who wants to be a millionaire?" there is a peak in that exact search on googles webstats.
