The surveys end too fast, they should stay up for at least a week, optimally 2 weeks.

I think 2 weeks is way too long. I think 3 or 4 days would be sufficiant for getting a good poll and havig a good discussion. It is great that there are so many tho. I wonder if he came up will all of them himself.

Actually, one every two days is good enough.

but what's a "good" discussion...they get off topic so easily that the discussion rarely ends up being about anything related to the survey...

Thats why we have Micheal Vincent. From what I've seen he is doing a great job deleting off-topic posts. lol, even deleted a few of mine. Anyway, I think 12 surveys was just about right. That gaves long enough for people to respond who don't visit all that often (*Winks at no one 2000*) and have enough time to read and post, but not long enough that it gets boring. Well, that's my view!

why can't they just have more than one survey going at once?

It would probably get confusing... either that, or people would only look at one. You'd run out of survey ideas quickly doing that, though.

16 votes for 'bad'? (as of 19:55:54:93... Greenwich Mean Time) Who would vote 'bad', anyways? It's GOOD! 12 is just the right number.

I dunno...I think another survey would be nice before the end of the month, because this one's not very interesting...

But no_one and I learned some stuff as a result of this survey. Too bad most of that stuff got deleted.

Wait at least 24 before you judge how interresting a poll is because everyone has a certain time when they visit and share their opinions that make a poll worth while.

I really like surveys, and since I visit ticalc.org daily, I always vote on them...


But this month it went a _little_ overboard :)

No, this month was fine, except for the one two polls ago. That was kind of interesting.

Mine: Sticking pennies and other hard items inside the flip-down mirror in the car (they fall on you), stick a rubber band around the spray thing in the sink, set the broom up in the closet so it falls out on you and causes a chain reaction of falling items, hide behind doors and scare people (with the digital camera), put pillows under the covers to make it look like you under the bed, and when they go over to you, push them onto the bed (haha)... I need MORE! :)

You forgot superglueing quarters to the sidewalk and watching people try and pick them up. That's a lot of fun too :).

LOL...funny story...I glued a golden dollar (those new ones with Sacagewea on them) to the cement in front of the starbucks where my brother works and he said there was one guy who tried to get it off for like 30 MINUTES while drinking his coffee...he finally got it off and then used it to buy another drink. It even had a chunk of cement still glued to it. It was SOOOO funny.

LOL!!!!!!! That's really hilarious! Will normal glue work on the road or the sidewalk? HEHEHEHEHE :) Oh, I can just imagine my neighbors trying to get the coins off the street... *idea* I'll get my cam corder and film them! That reminds me... I'll need to get some new batteries for my digital camera for when I scare people (haha).
