This survey is almost as bad as those childish "first posts." Of which this is one as well...Someone suggested an idea for a survey about your age though, that would be better than this.

p00t!er - can you tell what it is yet?

(for those who don't know Rolf Harris TOUGH the question still needs to be answered).

An example in a business ('aside':spit!) lecture was about a company that made pooters. - What the smeg is a pooter we all cried......
The answer:-
..... I don't know.

OKAY?? I'm confused now. There seems to be a question missing for this survey - there's a statement (which makes no sense) but no question.

Could some one explain this one to me

Why don't you make an 83 version of it? There are a lot more 83(+(SE)) owners, than there are people with an 82.
Anyway, about the survey: why didn't you just leave the last one open until you've got a better idea than this???

I was thinking of making a program that would port 82 BASIC progs to 83 BASIC, but then I didn't.

I'm not completely sure, but wouldn't that be as easy as changing the header? The program could probably be optimized for the 83, but that has to be done manually anyway.
Wasn't it possible to load .82p files directly to an 83?

Do people miss obvious things or am I too observant? The Graph-Link software (if anyone still has it) for the 83+ has a built-in 82 to 83+ converter.

Speaking of Graph-Link, it needs some fixing:
like more than 8 character file support
etc.

Yeah, and (at least the versions I have) are really outdated. The file opening thing is weird, and for the 82 and some others, you can't directly open a file by clicking on it--you have to open it through the file opener, which is the a pain in the neck

What a waste of time that would be.
Sorry, but not only does graphlink include a converter, but you can just go to msDOS prompt and type "ren filename.82p filename.8xp"
Or, drag and drop .82p files in Ti-Connect.

Oops, I've never known the GraphLink has a converter. However, RENaming it is kind of useless, since the calculator type is determined by the header. The extension .8?p is only for users. (Don't know about Connect, since I never used it.)

Donations of an 83 would be very welcome.

So would the winning national lottery ticket (before the prize is claimed).

Oh and a nice Jag XJ8

I don't ask for much do I.

Fortunately, I do :). Just send me an e-mail when it is in the archives, I'll download it, make it an 83 program and send it back to you (or upload it under my own name... haven't decided yet ;) ).

This is so sweet and flattering. You don't even know what my game is like and you still all want a copy.

If you have downloaded a copy of th game and the txt file does not contain a certain movie's style of story then please redownload in a couple of days as I have made a few updates.

!!!!! MOUSES !!!!!

Yeah, but in games that shouldn't cause to much trouble. Only in science/math programs "sin X + 5" causes errors (82 thinks you mean "(sin X) +5", 83 calculates "sin(X+5)").
Of course, 82 programmers shouldn't use PrintScreen, since the 83 doesn't support it.

TI-82???? REALLY? Tell me what is it (when it comes out) so I can download it. :) :) Most of the 82 games aren't so good (including most of mine), so I normally don't download too many 82 BASIC games, but I'll try yours out!

It's MOUSES
It won't be fantastic - hell no coloured graphics for a start.
But it has kept me amused - I wrote this version whilst sitting in work rather bored.

It is a cross between snake and tron - with the odd added extra.
(if anyone has already released a game identical to this I do apoligise)

Okay if you play the game then you will need to make sure the graph screen is set with labels and axis OFF - I keep this as default on my calc so forgot to turn them off in the game. - I shall remedy this as soon as possible.

okay as of now I have just uploaded a slightly improved version - it should turn all graph stuff off.
It seems to work on my recently reset calc.
