Okay, time to actually answer the question he had. One thing I would reccomend is to
back up everything he wants to keep on another calc or a computer and then turn on the
calc while holding clear. this will clear the ram. Then he needs to remove the
batteries, put them back in, turn it back on, resest ALL MEM, and then get a flash
upgrade before he puts his stuff back on. This has worked for a friend of mine that
had the same problem. Also, I would like to add that some math classes REQUIRE a
TI-83+, and nothing else like mine does. Also, I don't see anything wrong with the
83+, I really like it.
