Re: TI-H:calc 3.5mm plug

well i must say, im an american. but i wont defend the dumb old english
system it is rediculous as you stated, and the cause of many problems. One
thing i will answer, is the fehrenheit system was an attempt to base the
temperature scale on the body temperature of humans, 98.5 degrees F. They
were trying to make that 100 degrees F, but somebody screwed up or soemthing
like that. anyway, i personally think that the centigrade/celsius scale is
crap as well, you know. Kelvin should be universily used. any if not
kelvin direclty, then say Kelvin*10^2+n where n is the value. rather than
Celcius=Kelvin-252 or whatever
oh well. i cant haveeverying
And i think the time system in SI isstill archaic. They are just too lazy
to update it. They shoudl try to make the value a nice round number of
cesium vibrations, rather than the hodgepodge afterthought number it is.
And whats up with the 60 seconds in minute, 60 minutes in hour? it should be
dekasecond and hectasecond, each defined as the rest of the system is.

well, im rambling, but anyway...
