Isn't that cool? I'm having one put in by next Wednesday by Bellsouth. Cost $300
to install (200 for the adsl card and 99 for the installation) and it's $60 a
month unlimited. Unfortunately they'll only give you a 1.5Mbps downloads and
256kps uploads, although the lines can support up to 8Mbps upstream and 1Mps
downstream. It all depends on cable length. But heck, it's still better then my
56.6K connect. Another nice thing about adsl is you don't need another phone
line. It piggybacks on the existing line so that you can still make phone calls
even when your connected to the net.
