If you did that you could play MPEG bitstreams on your calculator.  I've
only done it with the 85, but 20k is about 10 seconds of highquality sound.

It would be better for the 92.  The 92 could play mp3s.  Thats 16k of
bandwidth.  MUCH less than digital audio.  But mpegs have the same quality.

512k would easily hold 2 minutes of FM quality audio.

I think bryan and the guy who already added a 16bit port to his 92 are.  :)
