TI-H: TI-85: A few ideas...

First of all, i would like to now if anyone has build a internal
memory expander in his calc (added a ram ic, that is) When i made this
idea, everyone asked for the plans, but i haven't heard much about it
when i send the plans to this mailing list. So let me know.

I read that somebody wanted to turn his calc in a portable
multimeter/temperature meter/etc. It might be an idea to use an AVR to
connect the calc to the chips, so you can use BASIC commands (input
(CBLGET), output (CBLSEND)) to recieve/transmit commands. (Like the
CBL system.) This way everyone can make programs, instead of the ones
that know asm. (I'd be willing to make a circuit like this)

Second, i had an idea for all you network freaks. I was reading
through some mags. and i saw an chip that can be connected to the
AC-lines in your home/school and makes a 1200 baud modem connection.
This ic isn't being produced anymore, but i'm certain there are more
of these out there. However, i won't be making this circuit, because i
now very little people with a calc so a network isn't something i need.

That's all,

Neil
