Re: TI-H: New EII!!! Subcontracting to build them

Sure.. I haven't done much regarding laying out the PCB yet
(its awefully hard to find good shareware PCB programs,
anyway) but there will also be an 8 pin module port allowing
all sorts of modules to be connected... so perhaps some kind
of SPinTerface-style thing for that would be nice too. I love
the idea of memory modules... I think they could easily fit
into a DB9 and maybe even something smaller. The whole EII
board, though, will never be that small. I'm trying my damn
hardest to keep it under 2.5 by 1.5 but its gonna be tough.
I'd like to go to SMDs but they're hard to work with for the
average hobbyist and I really don't think they're worth it.
I have found a great place that will do single sided
boards for el-cheapo so I will definitely be getting a pre-fab
run as soon as the design is finalized. I may move some of the
lines around to facilitate PCB routing but I can always change
the firmware. I'll talk to you more in private e-mail if you're
still interested.
