That's what I've been saying the whole time! You can't just buy 
something and expect it to runn on the calc. If I have a backlight, I 
want it to be 100% internal, and be simple. That's the reason I'm not 
buying some cheap manufactured inverter! I'm making a custom one 
designed SPECIFICLY for EL panels. I'm going to modify it to work well 
on a 5 square inch (TI screen size) EL panel, and run off of 6 volts, 
not 12 like the store bought inverters. The indiglo watch is the best 
model because of it's compact size! It's the only reason! I'm planning 
on a completely internal EL backlight that doesn't require any boxes or 
batteries or wires hanging out. I also need it small enough that it 
won't blow up the calc! That's my mission!
