There's no such thing as a bad computer (well...that's not entirely true,
anyone ever worked on a VAX?)...but i really don't understand what you see
in MacOS...you should really give Linux a try sometime. You might even
learn to like it if you install X-Windows (using KDE as a window manager
of course (www.kde.org for all your Linux people - GREAT window manager)).
I can see most people's arguments to Windows, although today i just
converted my QNX (fast...plain and simple) router to a Windows NT box
because i wanted to make it easier to adminster. I also spent 3 hours on
the phone with Microsoft Tech Support setting up SteelHead (routing and
RAS package that extends the default ones). Oh well...you live, you learn,
and most importantly you learn where the best places to put holes in
Alanis Morissette CD's are (about 3/4" in from the outer rim is perfect -
burn through it with a soldering iron).
