Ok, Travis, now I'm really pissed! You have writen 3 messages today
bashing me with the same crap and 1 message to another guy. This is the
reason why I wrote that message in the first place. Some people spend
most of their usefull time bashing other people. This is not a
popularity contest, or a test to see who's smarter. I just wanted to
get down a list of things that we need to think about for the RF link.
Second of all, I did not say to KILL the IR link idea, just to put it on
hold or to not get it mixed up with the RF. Our end result is not to
make a RF link OR a IR link but to make some kind of long distence
transfer link. I really don't care which one it is, just the one that
works better and it seems that a lot of people on the list are more
interested with the RF link, that's why I put it down!

Now, I was not trying to take control of anybody's idea, I just thought
it was time to start thinking about some general specifications on what
we want and need. I'm not hardware engineer, probably most of you know
a whole lot more about this kind of stuff than I do, but I do know
enough to write down some general ideas to try to start the gears
turning in some peoples heads. Quite a few have you have responded with
creative thinking, but some of you would rather bash people with crap
like this than be productive.

As for the IRC chat thing, I don't care if I do it, probably I'm not the
best one for this. But things could get really confusing really fast if
someones doesn't jump up and say something.

We have no official leader for this list so sometimes someone has to
jump out take a bit of control. I am not the only one who does this.
Many of you do it, it is not a crime, without it we may never get
anything done. I don't want to take control at all, if someone wants to
take over this discussion of IRC chat stuff, your welcome to do just
that. But if 10 people say that the chat is at 10 different places at
10 different times, that wouldn't work. That is why I did this, I'm
sorry if I affended certain people.

Maybe we should "elect" a president of the TI-Hardware list if we can't
act like mature adults, or at least mature high school students.
