3D vectors on 89

My calculator will graph in 3D but I'm not sure how to put the function in
the format it needs to be in to input it into the "y=" editor.

For example, if you have a vector r, which represents the position at time
t, in the form <2*cos(t),2*sin(t),t^2 >, how would you input it as z(x,y)?

I hope I asked a sensible question. I appreciate your time in shedding light
on this matter for me.

Thanks for any input you may have on this.

John
